haiku is a powerful 3-liner poem that originated from Japan, more particularly from the haiku master Matsou Basho (1644-1694), whom i imagine to be a very simple man with a pen and paper and sitting on anywhere he goes around Japan and writes from the heart what he sees from his surroundings. Basho is one of my favorites and you will love him, too!
